The «Kera» part of the Kerakoll brandname stands for «keramikos», meaning ceramic in Greek, and making ceramic tile adhesive a natural starting point for the company in 1968. The company designed a special formulation that solved the problem of how to stop tiles from detaching in high-load applications.
